2-Day Intermediate Rifle/Pistol Training

This Warfighter Intermediate Rifle Pistol Course will cover fundamentals of combat pistol marksmanship and is designed to improve and enhance basic shooter skills.  Shooters should have basic weapons handling skills acquired and ready to improve their shooting techniques.  Select shooting evolutions will challenge shooters to successfully engage targets while under stress.  Listed below are some of the topics that will be presented. Prerequisites:  This is not for first time shooters.  If you have the knowledge and skills to handle weapons systems safely and have safe gun handling skills locked in and don’t have to be reminded you will be good to go

• Proper Loading/Unloading techniques
• Stance/Structure
• Stoppage/Malfunctions
• Marksmanship Fundamentals
• Gear Placement
• Sling Use
• Transitions
• Holster Draw
• Barricades
• Movement
• Reloads

Equipment Needed:

• Serviceable Pistol
• Sling
• 3 Magazines for both weapons
• Magazine pouches
• Battle Belt/Duty Belt
• Dump Pouch (Optional)
• Ear/Eye Protection
• Ball Cap
• Hydration source
• Knee Pads (optional)
• Gloves (optional)

Ammunition Requirements:  850 Rounds Rifle/600 Rounds Pistol
