Warfighter Concepts Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) courses are the result of years of battlefield data from the warfighters who lived it and the medical experts who understand it. You will learn an outline for treating an injured soldier in the middle of a firefight and giving him statistically the best chance for survival. You will learn and understand the three phases: care under fire, tactical field care, and tactical evacuation care. In each of these phases a different aspect of medicine is utilized, from superior firepower, to triage and even quality of life. It encompasses major life threats such as massive hemorrhage, airway obstruction, and tension pneumothorax, which you will learn how to treat in an order of importance to give the best odds. The undeniable truth about this course, having been written with blood, is that these tactics work and knowing them will save lives.
