1-Day Basic Rifle/Pistol Course

The Warfighter Basic Rifle Pistol Course is designed to prepare the shooter to successfully operate and engage targets utilizing both weapons The course will allow beginner shooters as well as experienced shooters to revisit basic rifle fundamentals, which will allow the shooter to perform in most tactical environments. Specific drills will be presented to allow shooters to hone and develop strong weapons manipulation skills safely but aggressively. Listed below are some of the topics that will be covered.

• Assembly/Disassembly
• Loading/Unloading
• Fundamentals of Marksmanship
• Weapons Retention
• External Ballistics
• Zero
• Structure/Mounting 
• Malfunction Definition and Clearance
• Sling Use

Equipment Needed:

• Proper Range Attire
• Serviceable Rifle and Pistol
• 3 Magazines/pouches both Rifle and Pistol
• Battle Belt/Duty Belt
• Sling
• Dump Pouch (Optional)
• Ear/Eye Protection
• Ball Cap
• Hydration source
• Knee Pads
• Gloves

Ammunition Requirements: 800 Rounds Rifle, 400 Rounds of Pistol
